Pentagon Admits To Secret UFO Program?!

The Pentagon Admits That It Ran A UFO Investigation Program For 5 Years!

You read that right, the US Government ran a secret program that investigated UFOs. As in Mulder and Scully I, want to believe UFOs. It would be one thing if some random organization was looking into this unreal topic but this the Pentagon. To prove the seriousness of the program they were allotted 22 million dollars to investigate from 2007-2012.

The program has since been defunded in 2012 but still receives new reports of sightings. The program was initiated per the request of Harry Reid. The official name was The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Yesterday the Pentagon did a shocking thing they admitted that the program existed.

“Current and former Pentagon officials confirm that the Pentagon program has been in existence since 2007 and was formed for the purpose of collecting and analyzing a wide range of “anomalous aerospace threats” ranging from advanced aircraft fielded by traditional U.S. adversaries to commercial drones to possible alien encounters. It is a rare instance of ongoing government investigations into a UFO phenomenon that was the subject of multiple official inquiries in the 1950s and 1960s.”

In response to the creation of the program Reid is not bothered that his name is attached to it, he even sounds a little proud that he was able to help to start it.

“I’m not embarrassed or ashamed or sorry I got this thing going,” Mr. Reid said in a recent interview in Nevada. “I think it’s one of the good things I did in my congressional service. I’ve done something that no one has done before.”

The AATIP has investigated numerous UFO claims over the years and despite having lost funding still found a way to maintain its operations up to as late as a month ago. Luis Elizondo, an intelligence officer fought for the release of three UFO surveillance videos, that he felt were worth watching. Watch one of the videos is featured below.

Luis Elizondo resigned from his position in the DOD as he was frustrated no one would take the work seriously.

“He described scores of unexplained sightings by Navy pilots and other observers of aircraft with capabilities far beyond what is currently considered aerodynamically possible. The sightings, Elizondo told POLITICO, were often reported in the vicinity of nuclear facilities, either ships at sea or power plants. “We had never seen anything like it.”

But, in his view, military leadership did not appear alarmed by the potential threat. “If a Russian ‘Bear’ bomber comes in near California, it is all over the news,” he said. “These are coming in the skies over our facilities. Nothing but crickets.”

We know the AATIP yielded a 490-page report that contained cases that were new and decades-old from all over the world. Elizondo went on to a new company that specializes in the investigation of UFOs.

With all of the evidence that they supposedly have there has to be something to it but until they release all of it, the public will always be questioning the existence of UFOs.
