Fauci was a loss for words after Fox News reporter Peter Doocy walked him right into a trap.
Recently, Fauci was briefing the press about the omicron coronavirus variant which has been discovered in the United States.
Fauci reported that an American who recently traveled to South Africa tested positive for the variant on November 29. The individual was fully vaccinated and is doing well.

Fauci then agreed to take questions from the press.
Doocy asked Fauci if he had, “advised the President about the possibility of new testing requirements for people coming into this country? Does not include everybody?”
Fauci answered, “The answer is yes.” He also reiterated that everyone entering the USA must get a COVID-19 test regardless of status.

Doocy set the hook.
Doocy then asked, “But what about people who don’t take a plane and just–these border crossers coming in in huge numbers?”
“You know, that’s a different issue,” Fauci responded.
Fauci had nothing else to say and quickly moved on.

Fauci also lied there is no mass testing.
There is no mass COVID testing of illegal immigrants at the border by the federal government. When they are encountered in the field, they are given masks & crammed into buses for processing. Only those showing obvious symptoms are tested.
