Man Admits He Ran Down Teen Because He Was A Republican

In McHenry, North Dakota Foster County Deputies were called to the scene of a hit-and-run near the area of Johnston Street and Jones Avenue.

Cayler Ellingson, 18 had just left a street dance when he called his mother for help because Shannon Brandt, 41, was chasing him in his SUV. By the time his mother was able to get to the scene, Ellingson had been killed by Brandt who intentionally ran him over. The crazed 41-year-old told police that after getting into a political argument with Ellingson he believed the teen was part of a “Republican extremist group.”

Brandt did call 9-1-1 and confessed that he intentionally ran Ellingson over.

“We do not know of any witnesses. We are still making attempts to interview potential witnesses from the street dance, people that were present prior to the crash happening,” North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind told the Grand Forks Herald.

The judge order that Brandt be held on $50,000 bail  and has been charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident. Police have also indicated that “more serious” charges may be filed at a later date.

When Brandt sat before the judge he argued that he should remain on the street because family is important to him.

“I have a job, a life and a house and things I don’t want to see go by the wayside — family that are very important to me,” Brandt said during his hearing.

There are no reports that Ellingson – nor his family members – belong to any groups, the teenage was just a conservative with an opinion who a wacko leftist allegedly killed.

The mainstream media have completely ignored the attack.

Ellingson’s horrific murder comes just weeks after Biden labeled “MAGA Republicans” an enemy of the state.
