Recently, Dr. Anthony “Doom” Fauci announced that he plans to retire by the end of President Joe Biden’s term.
Fauci eluded his retirement could be sooner rather than later because he’s worried about Republicans lawmakers.
“They’re going to try and come after me, anyway. I mean, probably less so if I’m not in the job,” he admitted, sitting in his office on the sprawling National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, Md. “I don’t make that a consideration in my career decision.”
In a way, we should thank Fauci; his nonsense helped usher in the red wave.
Let’s not forget the nonsense the Biden administration tried to pull last summer. They blamed the pandemic on the unvaccinated, threatened people, and took away their jobs. It was Fauci who wanted more lockdowns, school closures, and masking requirements, claiming they were necessary precautions.
The school closures and mask mandates got parents involved in turning over school boards and shutting down an infection of woke ideology in the school systems. Fauci is hoping that he can retire and disappear before Republicans take over the government, but he is going to be disappointed.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Col) wrote that he won’t be allowed to ride off into the sunset and will face accountability.
Fauci thinks he’s just going to retire and move on with his life.
Fauci whined that people aren’t listening to him anymore, notice how he refers to people.
“It’s becoming more and more difficult to get people to listen, because even the people who are compliant want this behind them,” Fauci said. “What I try to convince them [of], with my communication method, is we’re not asking you to dramatically alter your lifestyle. We’re not asking you to really interfere with what you do with your life. We’re just asking you to consider some simple, doable mitigation methods.”
The “people who are compliant” aren’t giving up because they “want this behind them.” They are giving up because – even though they won’t admit it – they are tired of Tony’s BS.
Fauci is hoping that after what he did over the last two years he can disappear, but Republicans aren’t going to let him off that easy.
