Woke Disney Blindsided! Parents Strike Back After The Mouse Bows To The Mob

They should have gone with their instincts but instead, they bowed to the mob.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek tried to stay out of the debate surrounding the bipartisan Florida bill preventing teachers from teaching LGBTQ curriculum to students K- 3rd grade.

On March 3, 2022, Disney’s chief corporate affairs officer Geoff Morrell defended Chapek’s silence.

“Whatever Bob’s personal politics are, he’s not an activist and does not bring any partisan agenda to work,” Morrell said. “He sees himself first and foremost as the custodian of a unifying brand that for nearly a century has been bringing people together, and he is determined that Disney remain a place where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.”

But the woke mob continued to push and Chapek caved announcing he would be in touch with DeSantis.

That didn’t go very well…

It got even worse, a national poll that included Disney consumers found that they are not happy with the company’s decision to get involved and 40% of those polled said that they are “less likely” to purchase Disney products. The survey found that 67% of Americans do not agree with Disney’s decision and position.

Consistent with the official 2020 popular vote totals, the poll showed a +4 point advantage for President Joe Biden in the 2020 ballot among the respondents who said they voted in the election. Additionally, it asked the respondents to identify companies whose products they buy or use, and among them was Disney.

Parents are tired of their kids being targeted by far-left extremists and companies (no matter how big) better take note because if you go woke you go broke.
