You’d think CNN’s Jim Acosta would learn to stop trying to ambush Republicans but he’ll never learn.

Acosta was hoping that he would some embarrassing video of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for his show but instead, he was the joke.

Rep. MTG posted on her Twitter account a video of Acosta ambushing her outside Capitol Hill.

โ€œYou know Jim, you have a show, and, in all fairness, you try to present this image of me to your viewers and itโ€™s just really not correct,โ€ she said.

โ€œWell, weโ€™re just trying to get some answers,โ€ Acosta replied.

Acosta then asked MTG if she wanted former President Trump to declare martial law.

โ€œI donโ€™t recall those being my text messages,โ€ Greene said told Jim he was lying.

โ€œWhy donโ€™t you be honest?โ€ Acosta asked Greene.

โ€œYouโ€™re just another one of those liars on television,โ€ she added. โ€œAnd people hate it, they hate it. They canโ€™t stand the liars on television.โ€

The congresswoman then requested Acosta show her the text messages so they could discuss them. Acosta whipped out his phone and he began reading them but stopped when he came to the quote, “I don’t know on those things.”

Wait, excuse me, stop,โ€ Greene said. โ€œโ€˜I donโ€™t know on those things.โ€™ Is that what it says?โ€

โ€œWhy donโ€™t you tell that story?โ€ she asked.

โ€œYouโ€™re lying. Youโ€™re a liar. You know why people donโ€™t like you?โ€ Greene asked. โ€œBecause youโ€™re a liar. Why do you want to lie on television for your viewers?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not trying to lie,โ€ Acosta whinned.

โ€œYouโ€™re accusing me of something, and then when you read the actual words it tells another story,โ€ she continued. โ€œIt tells the truth.โ€

Folks, that is what happens when you believe your own talking points and can’t be objective.
