Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg finally admitted what we’ve all thought to be true, they are doing all of this on purpose.
While giving testimony before the House, Buttigieg said that the pain at the pump is designed to promote and push Americans toward a socialist green agenda.
“The more pain we are all experiencing from the high price of gas, the more benefit there is for those who can access electric vehicles,” Buttigieg said.

However, Buttigieg faced an impasse after Rep. Massie called out his misinformation. Massie noted what would happen to the United State electric grid if every American owned and electric vehicle.
“The average household uses 1,870 kWh/year for air conditioning,” Massie said. The congressman then asked if Buttigieg knew how much energy would be required if every American had an electric car.
“No,” Buttigieg responded.
“It would take FOUR TIMES as much electricity to charge the average household’s cars as the average household uses on air conditioning,” Massie said.
