This one blindside the left and they aren’t handling it well.
It has now been reported that Seth Dillion, CEO of the Christian satire site The Babylon Bee was contacted by Elon Musk before he polled his followers asking if he should buy Twitter.
The Bee was suspended for making a joke about Rachel Levine, a transgender woman who works for the Biden administration.
My latest for the NY Post:
“We’ll continue to spread our comedy and tell our jokes that communicate truth to a culture that hates truth on whatever platforms will allow us to, and we’re grateful for those who stand alongside us in this fight.”https://t.co/vNx1GEcnTV

Musk, who has become growingly concerned about free speech on Twitter called Dillion to confirm that the Bee was still locked out of their account. Shortly after their phone call Musk bought 9.2% of the company and is now on the board of directors.
Musk reached out to us before he polled his followers about Twitter’s commitment to free speech. He wanted to confirm that we had, in fact, been suspended. He even mused on that call that he might need to buy Twitter. Now he’s the largest shareholder and has a seat on the board.

The woke mob was so alarmed that Biden immediately sent his minions at the SEC to investigate however, there isn’t much they could do. But, Musk agreed that he won’t buy more than 14.9% of the company while he’s on the board. If the company gives Musk a hard time he could sink them with just the 9.2% that he now owns.
$TWTR up another 5% #premarket following yesterday’s surge on the news that new big investor Elon Musk is joining Twitter’s board. SEC filing notes that Musk won’t boost stake past 14.9% as long as he’s on board. https://t.co/yvEUMMHrXz

Employees at Twitter and woke mob know what this means and they are having a full-scale meltdown.
Democrat minion Robert Riech didn’t take it well.
So let me get this straight: Elon Musk thinks “cancel culture” undermines democracy and calls himself a “free speech absolutist,” but he’s threatened to sue bloggers and fired employees for speaking out about safety concerns?

Woke employees at the company didn’t handle it well either despite the fact that their stock soared.
