The Dems Are Shellshocked: In One Week DeSantis Ran Circles Around Them

The Democrats have no idea what just hit them in just one week Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ran circles around them.

First, DeSantis countered the Biden’s administrations policy regarding the treatment surrounding transgender kids. The Governor informed Floridian doctors that it will be against the law to provide treatment to a child or teenager who is experiencing gender dysphoria unless they are in counseling.

The Tampa Bay Times reported:

The state’s guidance advises against gender-affirming treatment for people under the age of 18, including surgery as well as the prescription of hormone therapy or puberty blockers, which suppress the release of testosterone or estrogen.

Florida’s updated guidance also said social transition — things like using a different name, pronouns or style of dress — should not be a treatment option.

Gender dysphoria is defined as the stress an individual feels when their gender identity does not match the sex they were assigned at birth.

Next, DeSantis – with the help of the Florida legislator – passed a new congressional map that eliminates seats the Democrats created through gerrymandering in blue-controlled states.

From Politico:

The map approved by the Senate dismantles the North Florida seat now held by Rep. Al Lawson (D-Fla.), a Black Democrat and would potentially lead to a flip of the seat in the Tampa Bay area now held by Rep. Charlie Crist (D-Fla.), who is not seeking a new term because he’s running for governor. The Central Florida district held by retiring Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.) would also become a GOP-friendly district.

The map was approved by the Florida House and DeSantis signed it into law on April 22, 2022.

Lastly, DeSantis made Disney pay for getting involved in politics, and on the same day he signed the new congressional map into law he also signed a bill that will eliminate the Walt Disney World special taxing district.

“The measure potentially delivers a blow to the company’s operations in the state,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “The special district, created in 1967 and known as the Reedy Creek Improvement District, exempts Disney from a host of regulations and certain taxes and fees related to emergency services and road maintenance.”

In case you are wondering, DeSantis has a 59% approval rating and Joe’s is somewhere around the lower to mid-30s.

The left got their butts whooped.
