Megyn Kelly made the best of an odd situation. Kelly tried to take the high road continually allowing Jane Fonda to run her mouth and make slights without making a peep in response to the hateful Fonda. But time had passed and Fonda thought that she could just continually walk all over Megyn without ever facing any repercussions. Boy, was she wrong…
The incident all started when Megyn was interviewing Fonda for a movie. Megyn brought up the plastic surgery that Fonda had had, thinking it was a softball question. She thought it would be an easy question because Fonda had repeatedly talked about her surgery, it seemed to be her go-to material for other interviews. But for whatever reason Jane was not having it. When Megyn brought up the plastic surgery Fonda had, Jane looked like she had been slapped in the face. As if Megyn had somehow hit an unseen nerve or said something obscene.
“It wasn’t like I was upset,” Fonda said. “I was stunned. It was so inappropriate. It showed that she’s not that good an interviewer.”
Megyn sick of Fonda’s overreactions and grabs at attention made everyone know she wasn’t going to take any more of Fonda’s nonsense.
“For years [Fonda] has spoke about the joy of giving a cultural face to older women,” Kelly said. “The truth is, most older women look nothing like Fonda, who is now 80. And if Fonda really wants to have an honest discussion about older women’s cultural face, then her plastic surgery is tough to ignore.”
Watch Megyn Set The Record Straight.
Megyn Kelly drove the point home when she used Jane Fonda’s old nickname, Hanoi Jane.
“Kelly said on Monday that Fonda “has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive.”
Jane Fonda is an Anti-American, Anti-Troops, and Viet Cong Sympathizer. She betrayed her country bashing US soldiers and calling the torture of US soldiers “understandable.” So I guess that’s why she fits in so well in Hollywood. The fact that Fonda somehow stayed relevant despite her stance on America is unbelievable.
Megyn Kelly just did a public service calling out Jane Fonda and informing younger generations of her despicable acts. We need more hosts like her shining a light on the monsters that hide in plain sight.
