Republicans and Conservatives are extremely concerned that our children are no longer allowed to be children.
They accuse the far-left and woke mob of indoctrination and ultimately ruining a child’s developmental years, and direct Constitutional violations.
Now leftists are going after a legendary children’s author.
Millions of American kids grew up with Roald Dahl. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” is probably the best known but there were so many others.
“James and the Giant Peach,” “Matilda,” “The BFG,” “The Great Glass Elevator,” “The Witches;” Dahl continually delivered childhood gems.
But the woke mob put pressure on the publisher of these works, and now changes are being made.

The publisher of Roald Dahl … has collaborated with the Roald Dahl Story Co., which manages the works’ copyright and trademarks, to make hundreds of alterations in order not to offend anyone with Dahl’s original works.
The Roald Dahl Story Co. said they also worked with Inclusive Minds, which “monitors children’s literature for inclusion, diversity, and accessibility.”
The publisher argued that the changes are “small and carefully considered.”
They also said it wasn’t unusual when reprinting older books to “review the language,” though that statement has been met with plenty of skepticism.

A few of the changes raised some eyebrows. For instance, here’s what they removed from “The Witches”:
- I do not wish to speak badly about women. Most women are lovely.
- “How horrid!” “Disgusting,” my grandmother said.
- When an actress wears a wig, or if you or I were to wear a wig, we would be putting it on over our own hair, but a witch has to put it straight on to her naked scalp.
If you read new versions of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” you’ll find certain sentences not merely edited — but completely removed.
For example, a sentence referring to Mike Teavee playing with his toy pistols was erased, as was a sentence saying the Oompa-Loompas climbing in the treetops.
In “Matilda,” the phrase “mothers and fathers” have been turned to “parents.”
Essentially, this seems to be less about language that would confuse modern audiences, and far more about language the left prefers.
That’s why so many parents are against this and calling it a complete violation of the Constitution, and more manipulation of the population.
