The space video controversy surrounding Vice President Kamala Harris keeps getting weirder and weirder.
We now know that the cringe worthy YouTube video was produced and that the “students” were actually child actors.
Below is the cringe worthy video if you haven’t seen it.
During a television interview Trevor Bernardino father explained that his son along with four other actors auditioned for the video.
“All five of them are actors,” Bernardino said. “He’s a child actor — he’s been trying to do this type of thing for a while. And so he has a manager and an agent in LA and they send him castings,” Bernardino said. “This was a casting call, a very specific one where he had to write essentially a monologue about what he’s really passionate about and he wrote a monologue about the environment.”
He added, “The producer of the series came back to him and asked him to write three questions that he’d ask a very important person … after that, he had a live Zoom interview with the producer of the series and then he got the part.”
Trevor then received a call from his agent informing him he got the roll.
Things got even weirder when the White House tried to distance themselves from the video. The Vice President’s office is now claiming they had nothing to do with the video and it was all YouTubes fault.
The response is just another sign that the VP’s office is a dysfunctional mess.
“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment,” one person with knowledge of operations at Harris’ office told Politico. “It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—.”
It was reported that Kamala hired a couple of people from the former Obama administration to help improve her image, looks like they aren’t doing a good job.
