Go woke, go broke and that is what is happening to actor Chris Evans.
The Hollywoke actor – who played Steven Rogers in Disney’s Avengers series – is the new voice of Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear and called people upset about the new movie “Lightyear” idiots.
When the movie – for children – went to the final cut Disney executives removed a scene that featured a lesbian kiss. However, after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed the parental rights bill – labeled the “don’t say gay bill” by far-left activists – Disney reinserted the scene.
Before the movie came out, Evans called critics of the scene “idiots.”
“The real truth is those people are idiots,” Evans said. “Every time there’s been social advancement as we wake up, the American story, the human story is one of constant social awakening and growth and that’s what makes us good.”
He added: “There’s always going to be people who are afraid and unaware and trying to hold on to what was before, but those people die off like dinosaurs. I think the goal is to pay them no mind, march forward and embrace the growth that makes us human.”
Upon release, the movie was slotted to take the top spot and was projected to earn $70 million during its opening weekend. Fortunately, the movie tanked on opening weekend and it only generated $50 million.
Evans was quick to attack Americans but remained silent after 14 other countries including China banned the movie because of the controversial scene.
Disney is taking a beating after they admitted their “not so secret” agenda.
