New exposure over Buzzfeed’s ‘source into the Russian-Dossier has the Mainstream Media site in an uproar.

Buzzfeed has put themselves in the middle of the Russian-Dossier investigation and why wouldn’t they? It IS one of the largest stories in American history, politically speaking. Well, the companyย says their rights to withhold source information has been violated and are trying their darndest to retract any information containing the name of their source.

This is just my personal opinion but if you’re providingย ‘information’ about the President of the United States to the public your right to withhold source is outweighed by an obligation to American security. Take a look.

A lawyer for a Russian businessman suing BuzzFeed over the infamous dossier suggested on Thursday that the websiteโ€™s source for the salacious document has finally been identified.

Val Gurvits, a lawyer for Russian tech businessman Aleksej Gubarev, made the revelation in response to a federal magistrate judgeโ€™s ruling in favor of BuzzFeed.

Magistrate Judge John J. Oโ€™Sullivan ruled in a Miami court on Thursday that BuzzFeed was protected by reporterโ€™s privilege from having to identify the person who provided it with the dossier.

Gubarevโ€™s lawyers have battled for months to figure out who gave BuzzFeed the unverified document, which was written by former British spy Christopher Steele and published on Jan. 10.

The attorneys have sought to find out what BuzzFeedโ€™s source said about the veracity of the dossier. If the source told BuzzFeed that the allegations in the report were unverified, shaky or false, Gubarevโ€™s attorneys would argue that the website was negligent in publishing Steeleโ€™s allegations.

The final memo of the dossier โ€” dated Dec. 13, 2016 โ€” alleges that Gubarev and two of his tech companies hacked into the DNCโ€™s computer systems. Gubarev vehemently denied the allegations and filed suit in February. BuzzFeed apologized to Gubarev and redacted…
