Democrats got dealt a killing blow when Sen. Kyrsten Sinema ditched their party. The Arizona senator broke from the liberals in the upper chamber. She isn’t even caucusing with them, meaning she can vote for Republican-backed bills whenever she likes.
But why did she leave the Democrats? You and I can come up with a few good reasons. But she recently blew the whistle on how the swamp-loving leftist senators operate from week to week. And she humiliated them with one hilarious story.

While speaking with GOP lobbyists in Washington D.C., the Democrat-turned-independent senator reportedly said that caucus “lunches were ridiculous… Old dudes are eating Jell-O, everyone is talking about how great they are. I don’t really need to be there for that. That’s an hour and a half twice a week that I can get back.” […]
Sinema explained that rather attend such events with the Democrats, “I spend my days doing productive work, which is why I’ve been able to lead every bipartisan vote that’s happened the last two years.”
Wow, talk about brutal. Sen. Sinema blasted Democrats and their twice-a-weak luncheons. She said it was just a bunch of “old dudes” eating “Jell-O.” That’s not a sight anyone should have to sit through while eating lunch.
She went on to complain that these Senate Democrats just sit around and talk “about how great they are.” Ouch! We all knew Democrats thought they were better than the rest of us. But it’s nice to get confirmation from a former insider.
Democrats across the country tend to have a “holier than thou” attitude. They seem to think they are superior to the rest of us, especially conservatives, because of how “progressive” they are. These “woke” liberals live in a bubble, totally disconnected from reality… and the issues facing Americans.
Perhaps that’s why Sinema left the party in the first place. She has since voted with Republicans on several key issues. Few Democrats in the Senate are bold enough to break from the party to do what is right for Americans. The only other in recent years has been Joe Manchin, who constantly is at odds with his party.
So… when are we going to see him leave the Democrats?
