Biden’s trip to Poland was terrible and his cognitive gaffes almost caused World War III.
As Biden was finishing a speech in Poland he said, “A dictator bent on rebuilding an empire will never erase a people’s love for liberty. Brutality will never grind down their will to be free. Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia — for free people refuse to live in a world of hopelessness and darkness.”
“We will have a different future — a brighter future rooted in democracy and principle, hope and light, of decency and dignity, of freedom and possibilities,” he continued working himself up.
That was when he went off-script and added:
“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”
The mistake was so egregious that his own Chief of Staff Ron Klain used a social media post to throw Joe under the bus.
Klain reposted comments from John Harwood emphasising a portion to highlight Biden’s mistake.
“Biden’s last-line ad-lib about Putin represented a significant lapse in discipline. But on concrete military steps, he has remained careful to avoid escalation risks. Experts on nuclear doctrine say he’s right to do so,” Harwood posted.
Klain highlighted, “Biden’s last-line ad-lib about Putin represented a significant lapse in discipline.”
Klain later deleted the post but it was a shining example of the dysfunction going on inside the White House.
This isn’t the first time a social media post has gotten Klain into trouble. In 2021, a social media post from Klain about Biden’s unconstitutional mask mandate ended up in a court ruling striking it down.
Klain posted that the OSHA rule was used to “workaround” the constitution. A federal judge didn’t see it that way and in his ruling striking down the mandate wrote that Klain’s social media post showed intent.
