Today, CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation that all children 6 months through 5 years of age should receive a COVID-19 vaccine. This expands eligibility for vaccination to nearly 20 million additional children and means that all Americans ages 6 months and older are now eligible for vaccination.
Parents and caregivers can now get their children 6 months through 5 years of age vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines to better protect them from COVID-19. All children, including children who have already had COVID-19, should get vaccinated.
Americans didn’t buy in.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, just 9% of children six months to 4 years old received the mRNA vaccine.
In the tradition of the Biden administration, they are now trying to backdoor a vaccine mandate. According to a report from columnist Alex Guttentag, the CDC is preparing a vote to make mRNA vaccines part of the regular childhood vaccination regiments that schools require.
In two days the CDC will hold a vote to add covid vaccines to the childhood immunization schedule. This will enable more mandates for kids and could give the companies complete liability protection. The significance of this vote cannot be overstated.
