Fauci’s interview with Fox New’s Chris Wallace displayed the NIH top docs god complex.
Wallace asked Fauci if he was partially responsible for being so polarized?
Fauci’s answered showed his ego was on steroids:
Well, I’m not so sure I could answer the latter because I can’t
think of anything, but I’m sure some people will.
But, you know, Chris, I have stood — always making science, data, and
evidence be what we guide ourselves by. And I think people who feel
differently, who have conspiracy theories, who deny reality that’s looking
them straight in the eye, those are people that don’t particularly care for
And that’s understandable because what I do and I try very hard is to be
guided by the truth. And sometimes, the truth becomes inconvenient for some
people, so they react against me. That just is what it is. There’s not much
I can do about that, Chris.
In the interview Fauci also was benevolent enough to allow the vaccinated to celebrate the holidays (sarcasm).
“Well, for groups that are vaccinated, I think we can enjoy the holiday season. I get asked that all the time. You know, trick-or-treating on Halloween, Thanksgiving with the family,” said Fauci. “When you’re in the family unit among people who are vaccinated, I think you should just enjoy the holidays as best you can in the family spirit.”
As if we needed his permission.
The elites might love him but the ratings for his new documentary are telling a different story. It would appear that regular Americans are no longer listening to Fauci.
Rotten Tomatoes is a website that allows viewers (regular Americans) and mainstream media critics to review documentaries and movies.
The website often shows that critics are often out of sync with viewers.
For example, the Fauci documentary is getting roasted by viewers while receiving glowing reviews from the critics.
The critics are being called out as propaganda salesman over their 91% positive review of the self serving documentary.
Rotten Tomatoes was called out earlier this week when they temporarily wouldn’t allow viewers to rate the film because the audience score was so bad.
The disconnect over the Fauci documentary’s reception perfectly encapsulates the disconnect over the lifelong bureaucrat’s pandemic influence. Held up on a pedestal by the establishment as an heroic arbiter of science and medicine operating in the face of Trumpian adversity, the general population has come to discover “America’s Doctor” as an arrogant political animal who’s lectured the public with remarkable inconsistency and to detrimental consequences. National Geographic predictably painted Fauci as the former.
Absent from the documentary was any mention that the highest-paid federal official knowingly lied to the public about, among other things, the threshold for percentage of vaccinated people required to reach a safe level of herd immunity.
“When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent,” Fauci told The New York Times in December. “Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”
Yes, the “truth.”
The left has deified Fauci and it has gone straight to his head.
