Father Kills Daughter In Discipline Gone Wrong Case.

Father Loses Temper And Then Daughter?

Texas Father, Wesley Mathews, went too far disciplining his 3-year-old daughter Sherin. Wesley originally claimed that the daughter went missing after he left her in an alley as a punishment. But after police dogs were called in and the body was found the story started to change.

Wesley changed his tune, with the discovery of the body. Wesley had been punishing Sherin for not drinking her milk. They were in the garage and waiting for Sherin to drink her milk, as she was in a defiant mood and had been unwilling to do so. She eventually gave in and started to drink her milk but Wesley irritated at the little girl’s defiance decided it wasn’t fast enough or didn’t think she was going to follow through. Whatever the case he forcefully assisted her in drinking the rest of the glass of milk.

Sherin not able to keep up and unable to stop Wesley from “Assisting” her, started to choke and cough and eventually her breathing shallowed and according to Wesley she stopped breathing. So did he call the police? 911? or any sort of help? No, he opted to get rid of the toddler’s body. This is the current version of events but Police are still not sure if this is actually what happened, as Wesley has already changed his story once, and the mother is unwilling to tell her side of the story.

Wesley Mathews is being held on $1 million bail bond and faces up to 99 years in prison if convicted. The FBI also seized 47 items, including “hair-like” fibers, a Costco receipt and a washer and dryer from the home before Mathews’ confession.

The couple’s other daughter, a 4-year-old, was placed in protective custody after Mathews went missing. A court hearing on Monday ruled the girl will remain in foster care at least until a Nov. 13 hearing, or when a judge determines a change in custody.

The couple reportedly adopted Sherin from an orphanage in India about two years ago. Sherin was placed in the orphanage when she was 1 after she was abandoned by her biological family, Times of India reported. Sherin had a developmental disability and didn’t have the language skills of a typical 3-year-old child.
