[Flint Michigan.] Five, Clio High School, teens face murder charges for what the teens are claiming was ‘just a prank’ that ended in a tragic death.
Kenneth White, 32-years old, was on his way home from his job to see his family. The young father worked in construction and was relaxing in the passenger seat of his work-van.
The van was traveling under a bridge on I-75 when a rock crashed through the windshield. Reportedly the 6-pound rock first struck White in the head before ricochetting against the dash and slamming into the man’s chest.
Kenneth suffered multiple fractures to his skull and face. Sadly, Kenneth died from his injuries. The official cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to his head and chest.
Prosecutors say that 17-year-old Kyle Angler was accused of throwing the stone that killed the father. Kyle now faces one count of second-degree murder and one conspiracy to commit murder but he wasn’t alone.
Mark Selesdky (16), Mikayden Payne (16), Trevor Gray (16), and Alexander Miller (15) have all been charged with the crime because allegedly the entire group had been throwing rocks at cars. The court is motivated to try the teens as adults because of the boys’ complete lack of remorse. After striking Kenneth the teens left the scene and went to eat at McDonald’s, where they were later picked up by police.

Prosecutors say several other drivers reported rocks hitting their cars on the highway but no one else was hurt.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says a total of 20 rocks were found, including one that weighed about 20 lbs. At least four damaged vehicles were on the shoulder.
Those five teens are expected to be arraigned Tuesday and face up to life in prison.
Charges were announced just a few hours before friends and family gathered at a funeral home to mourn White, a father of four children who was engaged to be married. He was riding home from work around 8:30 p.m. the day he was killed.
“Nobody wins,” the sheriff said. “The young people are charged criminally. A young boy lost his father, and all of the families are left grieving.”
