When President Trump Says He is Treated Horribly compared to other presidents this is what he means…

It Is Customary that the first lady decorates the White House using pieces on loan from Museums around the United States, and sometimes from around the world, Usually, Museums are happy to comply- Unless your last name is Trump.

Melania Trump requested to use a lesser known Vincent Van Gogh painting (‘Landscape With Snow’) from the Guggenheim Museum in New York, which was denied. In response to the First Lady’s request, the Museum’s curator, Nancy Spector a known anti-Trump activist, offered to send the Trump family a gold toilet instead. The 14 karat gold toilet titled ‘America’ is a satirical piece created to display ‘excessive wealth in America’.

The offer might not seem insulting at first glance but knowing the history behind the piece and the curator’s leftest views make it painfully obvious the gesture was meant as an insult. After all, if the Van Gogh piece wasn’t available the professional thing to do would have been to offer comparable artwork, not a toilet.

As Reported by Paul Schwartzman with Washington Post:

In August, as Cattelan’s “America” was approaching its final weeks on display at the museum, Spector wrote on the Guggenheim blog that Trump had “resonated so loudly” during the sculpture’s time at the museum. She described his term as having been “marked by scandal and defined by the deliberate rollback of countless civil liberties, in addition to climate-change denial that puts our planet in peril.”

A month later, the curator crafted her response to the White House’s request for van Gogh’s “Landscape With Snow.” She explained that the painting — “prohibited from travel except for the rarest of occasions” — was on its way to be exhibited at the Guggenheim’s museum in Bilbao, Spain, and then would return to New York “for the foreseeable future.”
