Matt Lauer Fired For Sexual Misconduct
Matt Lauer has been fired from NBCNews after it was revealed that Lauer had engaged in sexual conduct numerous times over the years. The allegations range from Lauer exposing himself to an employee in his office and inviting women back to his hotel room. There was also numerous sexts sent to female co-workers during the coverage of the Olympics. Lauer was quickly fired because the female accusers were able to provide the proof of his misconduct with the text messages they saved.
Many of his coworkers were in shock and couldn’t believe he had been fired while others from NBC were not. The Liberal Keith Olbermann turned against Lauer and tweeted on twitter about the incident:

Trump Also Responded To The Incident On Twitter:
Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!

After the initial complaint, the floodgates broke and several women came forward to tell their own stories about Lauer ranging from sexts to unwanted sexual activities done out of fear. Katie Couric even came out saying Lauer would constantly pinch her butt. All of this done during his 20-year reign of sexual terror at NBC, a network that claims to somehow be completely unaware of his activities.

Numerous other current and past “Today” staffers also expressed surprise at NBC chief Lack’s claim that this was the first complaint against Lauer in 20 years, with one insider telling us, “Everybody knew about Matt’s behavior, and everyone had to put up with it because he was so powerful, and well protected by management.”
But an NBC spokesperson said, “We can say unequivocally that, prior to Monday night, current NBC News management was never made aware of any complaints about Matt Lauer’s conduct.”
A spokesperson for former NBC News boss Jeff Zucker, who now runs CNN, also insisted there were no complaints about Lauer under his reign.
