Late-night host, Jimmy Kimmel, prides himself on his ‘clever’ antics and twisted facts. Here he is again showing us just how little he understands.
Kimmel chose to speak about the most recent court ruling, siding with the lesbian couple rather than the right of the baker to refuse service. Kimmel, seen in his own skit below, cherrypicks the judge’s ruling to fit his own ludicrous narrative, but what else should we expect from him?
[The Hill ] A California judge has ruled in favor of a baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.
Kern County Superior Judge David Lampe ruled that Cathy Miller, the owner of Bakersfield’s Tastries Bakery, can refuse to make wedding cakes for same-sex couples.
Miller had refused to make a cake for Mireya and Eileen Rodriguez-Del Rio last year. At the time, Miller said baking the cake would go against her beliefs as a Christian, according to the Bakersfield Californian.

As clever as Jimmy Kimmel thinks he is being all he has done, once again, is prove how plainly clueless he really is.
Ordering a salad (or any other meal) from a menu is not anywhere near the same as creating a custom item for a specific event. The judge in his ruling spelled that out for Mr. Smart Guy:
“The State’s purpose to ensure an accessible public marketplace free from discrimination is laudable and necessary public goal. No vendor may refuse to sell their public goods, or services (not fundamentally founded upon speech) based upon their perception of the gender identification of their customer, even upon religious grounds. A retail tire shop may not refuse to sell a tire because the owner does not want to sell tires to same-sex couples. There is nothing sacred or expressive about a tire.”
The same goes for salad, Mr. Big Brains.
