Police Face Off With A Squirrel.

Police Officers are the first line of offense in a community. They help to deter crime with their presence and work to keep our cities and towns safe. But sometimes the unexpected happens and they are caught off guard without having been fully trained to handle a situation.

That’s what’s happened in this case when Brockport Police showed up for a call.  “Officers Sime and Dawson arrived on scene but were not at all expecting the warm welcome they would receive from the squirrel,” police wrote on Facebook

The squirrel had been eating cookies in the kitchen and for whatever reason could not get out of the house afterward. After getting jumped on and I imagine a comedic scene followed where they captured the squirrel and then brought it outside.

Brockport Police will always go the extra mile to help their residents,”So squirrel wrangling is all in a days work.
