Feminist NBC Columnist Claims Space Travel Is Toxic Masculinity

NBC Columnist Claims Space Travel Is Male Entitlement.

Space the final frontier… Space Travel has been an ongoing dream for many and still remains to be so. There have been numerous female and male scientists that dream of seeing space. They have made it their life’s work to better understand space, and to engineer rockets and equipment. These engineers, scientists, and inventors worked for the goal of space travel knowing that they would likely never see space themselves. But that didn’t matter it was about helping to advance mankind. In hopes that we may someday be able to visit the stars and far away planets.

These advances for space have had huge effects on our society as the space programs have had to create new technology to deal with unknowns. Nasa alone has created the technology for freeze-dried food, cordless vacuums, better artificial limbs, life-saving heart ventricle pumps, improved tires, better gear for firefighters and much more. So even those who have no interest in space travel have seen the benefits in their everyday lives.

The columnist Marcie Bianco is apparently anti-innovation and has never wondered about the stars or space, as she is trying to find a way to make space travel seem like a bad thing. She claims that people like Elon Musk and other modern-day innovators are evil male conquerers that want to take over Mars due to their genitalia as opposed to curiosity.

It is the same instinctual and cultural force that teaches men that everything — and everyone — in their line of vision is theirs for the taking. You know, just like walking up to a woman and grabbing her by the pussy.

It’s there, so just grab it because you can.”

Musk is trying to ensure the continued existence of humanity. He wants us to see the universe, learn about the multitude of unknowns we as a planet-bound society have yet to see.

“I want to be clear, I think we should be a multi-planet species, not a single planet species on another planet.” “What kind of future do you want to have? Do you want to have a future where we are forever confined to one planet…or…one where we are on many planets?”

But this anti-space travel feminist is against colonization she feels this is a patriarchal ideology.

Rather, the impulse to colonize — to colonize lands, to colonize peoples, and, now that we may soon be technologically capable of doing so, colonizing space — has its origins in gendered power structures. Entitlement to power, control, domination, and ownership. The presumed right to use and abuse something and then walk away to conquer and colonize something new.”

She feels that space travel is a way for us to dodge the environmental issues we have now. Bianco feels that males are not interested in taking care of our planet. The columnist even goes on the to make the absurd comparison of rockets being Fallick symbols. But I guess you can’t force everyone to be for the advancement of society. Afterall if she were to focus on the betterment of society she might have to see men as her equals as opposed to her current man-hating view.
